Ambassador Robert Serry is a former Netherlands diplomat with extensive experience in international conflict management. At NATO he served as Deputy Assistant-Secretary General for Crisis Management (2001-05) and at the UN as Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (2008-15). He also served as Netherlands ambassador to Ukraine and Ireland. Mr. Serry is currently a senior adviser to the European Institute of Peace in Brussels and chairman of Open Door Ukraine, actively involved in humanitarian relief and early reconstruction in Ukraine.
