Patrick Wintour
Diplomatic Editor, The GuardianPatrick Wintour is a British journalist and currently serves as Diploma/c Editor for The Guardian, one of the United Kingdom’s leading newspapers.
Educated at Westminster School and later at Corpus Chris/ College, Oxford, Wintour developed early on a deep interest in politics and international affairs — foundations that would shape his distinguished career in journalism.
Wintour began his professional career at New Statesman (1976–1982), before joining The Guardian in 1983 as Chief Labor Correspondent. His insightful political analysis and strong reporting soon earned him senior positions.
