Hamish Falconer was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office on 18 July 2024. He was elected as the MP for Lincoln in July 2024.
