Hajer Sharief is the co-founder of the Together We Build It (TWBI) organization, which focuses on promoting inclusive and intergenerational approaches to peacebuilding and peacemaking. She is one of UN Women's 12 Champions on Women, Peace, and Security, and Human Rights, as well as a member of Extremely Together, an initiative by Kofi Annan and the Kofi Annan Foundation.  In 2020, she was recognized by Forbes as one of "Africa's 50 Most Powerful Women" and was also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Hajer currently serves as a member of the UN Women's Executive Director Advisory Board, contributing to advancing gender equality and peace efforts globally.
