H.E. Oguljahan Atabeyeva

Vice President for Medical Activities, Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need

H.E. Oguljahan Atabayeva is a Turkmen medical professional with over two decades of experience in obstetrics, gynecology, public health nutrition, and medical leadership. Born on 9 February 1980, she graduated from the Turkmen Medical State Institute in 2002 and subsequently served as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital in Ashgabat from 2003 to 2020. Her clinical work focused on maternal health, diabetes screening during pregnancy, and women’s reproductive care.

In pursuit of advancing her expertise in global health, she completed an MSc in Global Public Health Nutrition at the University of Westminster in London in 2021. From 2021 to 2024, she worked as a nutritionist in the UK, providing evidence-based dietary guidance and supporting diverse populations in improving health outcomes.

Since December 2024, she has been serving as the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, where she contributes to strategic program development and medical oversight for vulnerable children.

Oguljahan has authored research on gestational diabetes and obesity-related health knowledge. She is fluent in Turkmen, Russian, and English.
