H.E. Dr. Eduardo Enrique Reina García
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Republic of HondurasEduardo Enrique Reina García was born in Tegucigalpa on December 9, 1968. He has a degree in Legal and Social Sciences, with an orientation in Public International Law, and completed his postgraduate studies with an emphasis on Commerce, International Finance, International Law and International Policy at Oxford University, United Kingdom. In the public sector, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Honduras, he served as First Secretary of the Honduran Embassy in Brussels, Adviser to the Ambassador's Office to the European Union, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and Advisor to the Embassy of Honduran in London. He has also served as Director of Exports and Investments, Chief of Cabinet and Adviser to the Ministerial Office, Advisor to the Special Office on Sovereignty and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs. Holding the rank of Career Ambassador. He served as Head of the Honduran Diplomatic Mission to the White House in Washington, D.C. He served as Director of the Office of the Secretariat-General of the Organization of American States as its Representative in Bolivia, participating in several election observation missions of the Organization of American States.
