His role, as a former Secretary General of the League of Arab States and as a former Foreign Minister of Egypt alongside other affiliations has made him a trusted and beloved Politian, not only in his country but across his region and the world. Amr Mousa entered history as one of the foremost personas who have assumed the pyramid of Egyptian Diplomacy in an honorable and effective manner. He served as the Ambassador of Egypt to India (1983-1986). Then he became the Permanent Representative of Egypt to the U.N (1990-1991), the Foreign Minister of Egypt (1991-2001) and the Secretary General of the League of Arab States (2001-2011)
