Ahmed Saad Al-Rumaihi is the Humanitarian Aid Manager at Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), where he leads the Fund's global strategic humanitarian interventions. His work reflects QFFD's unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable solutions for global challenges. In his role, Ahmed oversees the development and execution of key initiatives and spearheads strategic partnerships with international organizations, driving impactful collaboration in humanitarian aid.

 

Prior to joining QFFD, Ahmed served as the Director of External Affairs at Qatar Charity, where he led the organization's strategic partnerships, international cooperation efforts, and global advocacy initiatives. Since joining Qatar Charity in 2018, he held various leadership roles, including Director of Relief and International Partnerships. In this capacity, Ahmed played a pivotal role in institutionalizing emergency response mechanisms and enhancing operational efficiency. His tenure was marked by the establishment of robust partnerships with United Nations agencies and international NGOs. He also contributed significantly to diversifying the organization's funding model, ensuring its financial sustainability.

 

Ahmed holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham, equipping him with a nuanced understanding of global affairs and partnership dynamics within the humanitarian sector. His career reflects a deep commitment to driving collaborative, inclusive, and effective humanitarian solutions worldwide.
