Ambassador Mark Green (ret.) is the president and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Previously, Green served executive director of the McCain Institute, administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), president of the International Republican Institute, and senior director at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. Green also served as the U.S. ambassador to Tanzania (2007-2009) and a Member of Congress representing Wisconsin’s 8th District (1999-2007).
