Stefanie Dekker is a senior foreign correspondent with Al Jazeera English, having joined the channel in 2005.

She has reported on a wide array of events across the world from the 2011 Egyptian revolution, to the 2014 Gaza war, The Taliban take over of Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine, to Turkey’s earthquake earlier this year.

She has reported extensively from Gaza since 2009, covering the 2014 war, the 2018/2019 border protests which culiminated with the US moving its embassy to Jerusalem and most recently covered the war on Gaza from the Gaza- Israel border.
