Invitations to the Doha Forum are extended on an individual basis, however the content of the event itself will be shared widely on social media and live streamed on YouTube, allowing all those media interested to partake.
For those invited to attend in person, once you are invited, our dedicated registration team will reach out to you directly to process your registration online and confirm your flight and accommodation details.;
Upon receiving your official invitation confirmation, our reservations team will reach out to you directly to process your registration, take your flight preferences and arrange for your accommodation in Doha.;
Courtesy shuttles will be made available for all media guests attending Doha Forum 2019, to take you to and from your hotel accommodation. Our registrations team will confirm these logistics with you directly.;
A shuttle service will be provided by Doha Forum from the hotel to the forum venue, the Sheraton Hotel Doha. A transfer schedule will be shared closer to the forum date.;
Doha Forum will cover the cost of accommodation and provide lunch and dinner as part of the event.;
We will share information with how you can collect your access pass closer to the event.;
Absolutely. The Doha Forum itself will take place within the Sheraton Hotel and filming will be allowed at all times, with the support of dedicated media zones. However, please note that media accreditation is still required for those arriving into Qatar, as per the direction under the registration process.;
Rules and regulations exist regarding the accreditation of media visiting Qatar and full accreditation of each media attending the event will form part of your registration process.
If you are unsure if you are allowed to film in a certain area of Qatar, please ask a member of the Doha Forum media team who will confirm this on your behalf.
Prior approval is required to film and take photographs in most locations in Qatar and there are various locations within Qatar where filming is prohibited for security reasons. Typically, these sites include, but are not restricted to, defence installations, domestic security buildings, ministerial buildings and the Amiri Diwan. Please do not film individuals without their prior consent or approval and we request identification is kept with you at all times.;
The weather in Doha in December is usually very pleasant. It can be cool and windy, especially at night. In December, temperatures typically range from 16 to 25 degrees Celsius, or 60 - 77 degrees Fahrenheit.;
It is recommended to wear formal business attire for the duration of the event. Outside of the event, it is advised to dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees, in respect of the local culture.;
